Patrick Waldron - Chief Executive Officer

Patrick was named CEO of Fintrax Group in November 2012. Prior to this, Patrick was Chief Executive of Post Office Financial and Travel Services, two joint venture businesses between Bank of Ireland and the UK Post Office with £25 billion in assets and liabilities, generating profits of over £150m. Previously he was COO for the Bank in Ireland and also ran a number of business units for the Bank.

Conor Flanagan - Group Payments Director

Conor is responsible for the DCC and Payments part of the business. A qualified Chartered Accountant and member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Conor has been with Fintrax Group for over 15 years and was previously the Chief Financial Officer.

Pat Faherty - Group Sales Director

Pat is accountable for sales operations in 21 countries across Europe as well as the portfolio of 200 International Key Accounts. Prior to this role, Pat was the Country Manager for France and Benelux as well as the Group’s Marketing Manager and has been a forerunner in the development of Fintrax Group since 1986.

Chris Parkin - Group Operations Director

Chris is responsible for transaction processing, refund networks, merchant support and customer service. A qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Chris joined Fintrax Group in 1994 when he founded and managed the UK business until 2013.

John Duffy - Research and Development Director

John has over 18 years’ experience within Fintrax Group, fulfilling a number of creative, innovative and establishment roles. He continues to drive innovation and software development within the company. 

 

Claire Hafner - Chief Financial Officer

Claire joined Fintrax in July 2016 from her most recent role as CFO and Board Director of Vocalink, the UK payment systems company, where she worked for six years. Prior to that Claire worked for the law firm, Eversheds, as Finance Director for four years, and has also held senior finance positions at Barclays and BT. Claire previously worked for Guinness, Euro Disney and Ernst & Young.

Stefan Intemann - Chief Information Officer

Stefan Intemann, Chief Information Officer for Fintrax manages the group’s technology and product development. He joined Fintrax Group in 2013 after holding senior management positions in various private organisations and playing semi-pro Baseball.

Non-Executive Directors

Charles Petruccelli - Non-Executive Director

Charles joined Fintrax Group as a Non-Executive Director in July 2016.   With over 35 years’ services in senior executive roles at American Express, he is a well-established leader in the global travel, credit card, international payments and foreign exchange sectors. In 2001, Charles was promoted to lead the Global Business Travel and Foreign Exchange areas at Amex, which he grew to more than US$20bn of sales volume and over 18,000 employees. Charles also serves on multiple boards, including Amex GBT III, Kanoo Group as well as various start-ups. He is a member of the Strategic Committee of ventee.privee.com.

David Sear - Non-Executive Director

David became a Non-Executive Director of Fintrax Group in July 2016.   A leading fintech entrepreneur and investor for over 20 years, David was a co-founder of WorldPay and led the global rollout of the Travelex Cash Passport travel card business (sold to Mastercard for US$500m) and Travelex Global Business Payments (sold to Western Union for US$1bn). David is a Non-Executive Director of Provident Financial Services (FTSE 100), Chairman of Bango (AIM: BGO) and Chairman of privately held payments businesses Semafone and Ixaris.

Pascale Guerin - Non-Executive Director

Pascale joined Fintrax as a Non Executive Director in January 2017.  She has spent the majority of her career in the travel retail industry at L’Oréal Travel Retail International, where she is currently Risk Management Director. Her previous roles within the company at Group level include Deputy Director of Internal Audit as well as CFO, a post she held for several years. Prior to joining L’Oréal Pascale worked at KPMG.
